Program Overview
This dynamic 10-week virtual program provides the flexibility of online learning with the benefit of instructor support. Through interactive sessions and structured modules, you will gain both the spiritual insight and practical coaching skills necessary to support personal, professional, and faith-based growth in others.
Course Modules
1. Introduction to Christian Coaching
Get an overview of the program and the mission of Christian coaching.
2. The Foundations of Christian Coaching
Explore what sets Christian coaching apart and what makes a coach truly effective. Learn about change, growth, and leadership dynamics.
3. The Skills of Christian Coaching
Develop core coaching competencies, including building trust, effective listening, powerful questioning, and coaching models.
4. Assessment in Christian Coaching
Learn how to assess a client’s present circumstances and coaching readiness.
5. Vision in Christian Coaching
Help clients clarify vision, discover purpose, and align with their God-given mission.
6. Strategy, Action, and Obstacles
Equip others to set strategies, take action, and overcome internal and external obstacles.
7. Why Ask Questions
Master the art of asking powerful questions—and what to avoid when guiding others.
8. The Coaching Process
Learn proven models for coaching conversations, goal-setting (SMART goals), and using tools like the Life Wheel.
9. Advanced Asking Skills
Go deeper with techniques like affirmation, habit change, decision-making, reframing, and challenging clients toward growth.
10. Six Human Needs
Explore the six core psychological needs and how they relate to fulfillment, motivation, and personal transformation.
Certification & Program Details
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Certified Christian Life Coach Certificate issued by the National Association of Christian Counselors (NACC) in partnership with Victorious Living Bible Institute.
