Anita M. Harris, Ed.D, DMin.

Dr. Anita Harris - Chief Academic Officer/Provost

Dr. Anita Harris is a dedicated educator with a passion for serving the youth in her community. Currently employed at the Pierce County Board of Education as the Special Programs and System Test Coordinator, Dr. Harris has made significant contributions to academic initiatives.

In addition to her role in education, Dr. Harris holds the position of Chief Academic Officer/Provost at Victorious Living Bible Institute, where she continues to play a vital role in shaping academic programs and fostering a positive learning environment.

Actively engaged in her church, The Upper Room Outreach Ministries, Inc., led by Pastors Dr. Samuel Sellers, III, and Dr. Renae Sellers, Dr. Harris serves as the director of the youth ministry. She is also a valued member of the praise team, using her musical talents to enhance the worship experience.

Dr. Harris extends her impact beyond the church, serving as a mentor to students in Pierce and Ware County. She is a member of the Waycross Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., actively participating in their youth initiatives. Additionally, she contributes her vocal talents as a member of the Pierce County Young Adult Community Choir.

In her personal life, Dr. Harris is happily married to Tyrone Harris, Sr., and is the proud mother of three children: Tyrone Harris, Jr., Joshua Harris, and Tynisha Harris. She is the beloved daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Hubert Williams and Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy and Mary Williams-Johnson.
